At Magpie Cottage we welcome guests from all backgrounds and interests. We have two bedrooms with Queen beds suitable for individuals (singles), couples, families and groups of up to 4 people. (plus free cot available)
You will be the only people booked in and you have a private bathroom for you and your group. It should be noted that myself the host (Martin) lives on site so the kitchen, dining, lounge and covered deck areas are shared spaces.
We are an inclusive operation treating All guests with care and respect.

Where can I see more information?
We suggest that you start by having a look at our home page which has quite a bit of information on it.
Other pages have information of interest to different people but you are very welcome to phone or email us in need.
Are we able to use the laundry at Magpie Cottage?
Yes. We have a washing machine, dryer, iron and clothing racks on the covered deck which you are free to use without charge.
Do you have an enclosed area for bicycles and motorbikes?
There is room for bikes and motorbikes in our enclosed garage. This is available to guests at no cost
How does your tariff (charge) work for different combinations of people?
The tariff works on the number of people staying. For instance the tariff is the same for 1 or 2 people with an extra charge for each additional person. There is a free portacot available for infants up to 3 years of age.
Is there parking for my car?
Yes, there is room to park 2 cars in the drive-way free of charge
Does the suite have its own toilet and bathroom?
Yes, you have a private bathroom including a toilet opposite the 2 bedrooms
Do we get the entire cottage to ourselves ?
There will not be any other guests when you stay as I only take one party at a time. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom are your private area. However it is a homestay and I live on the site which means that the kitchen and lounge etc. are shared areas.
I am travelling with my friend. Can you please confirm there are 2 separate beds?
Each of our two guest rooms in the suite have a Queen sized bed in them for your comfort. There is a portacot available free of charge if needed.
What time is breakfast?
he breakfast with be put out overnight except for the milk and yoghurts etc. which will be in the fridge so that you can have breakfast whenever it suits you.
You stated that we could choose our bedroom but we booked two single rooms. Are both bedrooms for us?
Yes, you can use both bedrooms. They both have queen beds in them for your comfort.
I am gluten intolerant. Can I have a gluten-free breakfast?
Yes, no problem there. We have gluten-free bread and cereal available as well as tinned fruit so you should not go hungry.
